Huascar Lopez is an Accountant with an MBA in Finance from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, and is also a certified public accountant. Huascar Lopez has expertise in financial statement analysis and accounting for not-for-profit organizations as well as commercial enterprises with international operations.

Huascar Lopez has been recognized as the “CPA of the year” by the National Association of Hispanic Accountants (NAHA) and many other professional societies. Huascar Lopez started his accounting career in 1999 in a local tax preparation firm. Huascar Lopez began his career in consulting with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), where he worked as an Advisor and Auditor for corporate, not-for-profit, governmental, and educational clients.

He then moved to the insurance industry and, in 2008 began his career with the VARs & Distribution companies as an Accountant and Financial Analyst. Huascar Lopez founded CashFx Group, LLC. A small local business that provides expertise in consulting, auditing, analysis, risk management, and financial technology for its clients.

Huascar Lopez has worked in the public sector focusing on Governmental Accounting & Finance. Huascar Lopez has served as a full-time, part-time, and volunteer public accountant with the State of Nebraska and the Federal Government.

Huascar Lopez was appointed as an Assistant Controller at the U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) in Washington, D.C. At the GAO, Huascar Lopez worked on small business audits and financial management reviews for federal contractors and government funding agencies such as Small Business Administration (SBA).
He also worked on internal controls audits for the Small Business Administration.
