However, she resigned later after being discriminated and sexually harassed by another company founder. Andrey, the founder, and president of Badoo invited Whitney Wolfe to join his organization soon after she resigned from Tinder Company. Badoo an app that is similar to Tinder was established ten years ago. Whoever, Whitney Wolfe refused his proposal to become Chief Marketer of Badoo, a position that was readily available for someone with skills and experience such as Whitney.

Whitney Wolfe confronted the CEO of Badoo on their first meeting, with the idea that she had in mind when she resigned from Tinder. She told Andrey about her plans to start a new company that would change the online dating experience for women. Andrey offered her the help she needed including access to his Badoo technical team members, funds and the power to make a creative decision an offer that Wolfe could not resist.
The two agreed, and Bumble the first women dating site was founded. Whitney Wolfe was given 20% ownership and his partner Andrey 79%. Bumble app has over 30 million active subscribers since it was launched four years ago. The company offers employment to more than 50 workers. The company’s growth is propelled by the principle of taking note of issues surrounding the modern women when it comes to dating online. Whitney Wolfe suggested that the goal of his founded company (Bumble) is to operate on a global scale to reach many users worldwide.
